The In Between
Is a choreographic exploration navigating the space between stylized self-presentation and instinctive surrender—between the polished imagery of pop culture and an intimate, ritualistic encounter with the body. Drawing on pop culture’s symbols and aesthetics, the piece reflects on how these images shape our identities and contrast with our deeper, instinctual selves. Movement unfolds as a metaphorical journey, blending playful and sensual gestures with raw, transformative rituals. Positioned between visibility and concealment, performance and authenticity, THE IN BETWEEN investigates how we negotiate public personas and the search for an authentic, instinct-driven self. The work invites audiences to enter a liminal space where fixed categories dissolve and identity emerges as fluid, embodied, and profoundly alive.
